The cover of the book
The Island of the Blue Dolphins is very welcoming. it shows calm colors and the girl looks relaxed and at home. i belive that the cover is a really good representation of the book's plot too. the girl is in love with her home (the island) and she will do anything to protect it, its her world. the dolphins in the cover show and represent thye wildlife and tropical flow of the island. so far the island is exactly how it is described in the book. i recoment checking it out for yourself!
The cover does look pretty interesting. The dolphins all most look like waves and the girl looks like she is the island. Hope you like this book!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved this book! I don't remember a ton about the plot because I read it a long time ago, but it definitely made a lasting impression in my mind as a book that had great descriptions and vivid imagery.
